ABOUT THE POSITION:
Come join our amazing and passionate team at Dr. Rakesh Mehta Inc. DBA Westsyde Dental Center, Kamloops, BC as a Bookkeeper. We are seeking a bookkeeper to oversee company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations and much more contributing to the clinic's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
~ Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information
~ Reconcile company's financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements
~ Keeping track of all financial transactions, including payments received from patients, expenses for supplies and equipment, and other financial activities.
~ Study financial trends to determine future business needs
~ Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
~ Generating financial statements, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to provide an overview of the clinic's financial health.
~ Calculating and processing payroll for clinic staff, including dentists, hygienists, and administrative employees.
~ Managing the billing process for dental services provided to patients with insurance coverage, including verifying coverage, submitting claims, and following up on unpaid claims.
~ Assisting in creating and monitoring the clinic's budget
~ Keeping track of all financial transactions, including payments received from patients, expenses
for supplies and equipment, and other financial activities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related filed is required
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
• Comfortable working in an all-digital, electronic environment
• Bookkeeping experience is an asset

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:
• A competitive salary Pay: $30 per hour
• Full-time position (40 hours/week) working Monday to Friday
• Two weeks paid vacation
