GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The HR Coordinator / Staffing Coordinator must perform a range of duties including administrative, employee relations, and most importantly, staffing needs/recruitment. The HR Coordinator / Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that they provide the support to the operation to ensure successful business operations.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment:
• Source, screen, and recruit candidates using databases, job boards, and social media. We are always looking for new and diverse approaches!
• Interview candidates and enter the new employees’ information in our database.
• Onboard new employees and ensure all required paperwork is complete and in accordance with current legislation.
• Understanding the needs and aspirations of our employees and ensuring a positive experience
• Collaborate with Site Managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment plans.
• Establish a list of candidates and prospects by region and continue to foster relationship with candidates to turn them into employees.
• Monitor employee morale and success. Recommend strategies for improvement.
• Act as a point of contact with the candidates during the selection process. You are their first impression of who we are and what we are about!
• Oversee staff welfare including onboarding and HR-related matters.
• Engage with employees and support any onboarding needs. Orientation and onboarding at different customer facilities.
• Perform other HR Functions and activities as needed and assigned by management from time to time.
Administrative:
• Respond to any phone calls or emails regarding HR matters.
• Maintain communication with the employees regarding upcoming meetings, social events,
recruitment announcements or company news.
• Managing time-off requests into the time and attendance systems -Ceridian Dayforce and HR Collage.
• Assist with manpower planning, prepare the manpower report weekly to provide to the managers.
• Complete benefits enrollment for new hires.
• Maintain the safety shoe and safety glass reimbursement program.
• Submit the temp agencies’ hours weekly.
• Filing and maintaining new hire orientation records.
Employee Relations:
• Spend time on the production floor interacting with employees.
• Manage all employee questions and concerns by being accessible to employees.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with our employees
• Improving employee suggestion program and organizing social events to improve employee morale.
• Work adjusted schedule to ensure all 3 shifts have access to HR.
• Assist with the employee rewards program.
• Work with managers to resolve issues with employee investigations, performance, behavior, or
attendance.
And any other duties as assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing /automotive environment.
• Experience using Ceridian-Dayforce and Ceridian Powerpay (payroll system) is a must.
• Experience in ADP/ATS is a must.
• Experience in ISO audits /IATF audits and ECO Vadis.
• Experience in sustainability and environmental audits.
• Bachelor's degree or graduate certificate-related studies in Human Resources Management(required).
• Working towards or currently holding an HR designation (CHRP)
• Work experience in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Compensation.
• Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always.
• Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
