We are currently looking for a full-time Building Maintenance Worker to join our company.
Our successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the aspects of daily operations of the building to provide safe and hazard free environment to our team and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Adjust and do minor repairs to heating, cooling ventilating, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical systems, and contract tradespersons for major repairs.
*Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
*Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make minor purchases as required.
*Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
*Perform daily inspections on the building systems.
*Keep the building clean, organized and free from safety hazards.
*Maintain the outdoor environment - including snow removal, keeping the walkways and parking areas clean.
*Drives company van to get some stocks.
Our ideal candidate must be equipped with:
*The physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, work under pressure, handle heavy loads and lift 25-50lbs.
*Full-time availability and flexible schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends.
*Willing to relocate in a rural area. Relocation costs not covered by the employer.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Valid driver license and at least 2 yrs experience in driving.
*Knowledge in electrical, plumbing and carpentry is an asset.
