We are currently recruiting a Web Designer to update our existing website and mobile app to be user-friendly and appealing. We are a growing business and require someone with all-round experience with excellent visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, After Effect and Illustrator.
Job Duties
1. Establish web design guidelines, standards, and best practices for our existing website and our mobile app in the plan.
2. Design visual imagery for our site and ensure that it is consistent with our company brand image.
3. Create graphics, animation, icons and logos to optimize our branding and identity systems for our company website, mobile app, and other media.
4. Prepare design plans and present the website and mobile app structure, communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
5. Incorporate functionalities and features into our website, ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet.
6. Work with back-end web developers to implement visual elements and ensure website and mobile app logic is properly integrated.
7. Keep up to date with new design trends and continuously maintain design standards and best practices.
Job Qualifications
1. College Diploma in web design, graphic arts, digital media or a related field are required.
2. A minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in design or a related field.
3. Proficient skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, AE or other visual design and wire-framing tools.
4. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
5. Demonstrable problem-solving skills and creativity with a strong portfolio.
6. Up-to-date with the latest Web trends and technologies.
