Clarks Harbour Seafood Ltd. is looking for a mechanical engineering technician to join our team.
Job Requirements:
Languages: English
Education: College/CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years/equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word
Area of specialization: Machinery and components
Personal suitability: Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Organized, Team player
Terms of employment: Permanent position
Job Duties:
-Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction
-Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications
-Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
-Participate in machinery installation, repair, and maintenance
-Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
-Test machines and equipment
Salary: $35.38 per hour.
Benefits: 10 days paid vacation.
Work Hours: 35 hours per week, full-time.
