Job duties:
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
• Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and provide feedback to team members.
• Schedule and oversee work shifts, balancing workloads as necessary.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training for warehouse staff. Enforce safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Investigate and report any safety incidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve operational efficiency.
• Schedule regular maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime. Ensure the proper functioning of warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Manage equipment maintenance budgets effectively.
• Identify and resolve operational issues and challenges as they arise. Implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent future problems.
• Prepare reports on warehouse activities for the manager’s review, such as inventory levels, order status, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement strategies for warehouse improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure the warehouse operates by all applicable laws and regulations.
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $27.50 per hour
Regular working hours: 40 hours per week
