Job duties:
- Determine insulation requirements and select type of insulation required.
- Measure and cut insulation to fit into walls and around pipes.
- Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods
- Fit insulation around obstructions, and shape insulating materials as required.
- Install vapor barriers or plastic barriers to protect insulation from moisture
- Apply waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces.
- Use compressors to spray insulation into some spaces.
Job requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- 2-3 years of related experience is required.
