Chicken Plus is South Korea’s leading fried chicken brand located in London, Ontario, and we provide high-quality menus with Korean cuisine. To serve our customers better with efficient and professional service, we are currently looking for a diligent and experienced Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020) who can join our leading team.
Position Descriptions (Main Duties)
• Overview and confirm work shifts/schedules for staff and supervise the activities in serving food and beverage and food preparation
• Estimate and place order to the vendors for required food ingredients on a regular basis and other related supplies for restaurant operation
• Create and monitor food and beverage order summaries according to special requests from customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Ensure and record daily inventory counts and wasted supplies/stock
• Provide training and guidance to staff in preparation and handling of food as well as customer service standard
• Responsible for overseeing restaurant operation and providing outstanding food and beverage service to customers
• Monitor sanitation practices in dining area as well as other staff’s work area to ensure staff follow standards and safety regulations, including the updated COVID-19 protocol
• Maintain and constantly improve the level of overall food and service meet quality control standards
• Assist in the process of recruitment and the development of restaurant policies, operation procedures and budgets and food and labour costs
• Actively participate in the company’s meetings to attract new customers and co-ordinate menu updates based on customers’ review when necessary
• Prepare to set up and oversee tables for special guests or functions
Requirements
• Minimum 2 year of experience in food preparation or service industry
• Minimum secondary school diploma
• Ability to work in an extremely busy and fast paced environment under pressure and ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Ability to discuss and approach with the best possible solutions to customers’ and employees’ complaints and concerns to resolve conflicts
• Strong team player with ability to interact with all levels of staff in the organization
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekend
Compensations and Others
• $17.00 per hour based upon 35 hours working per week
• Remuneration: 4% of gross salary in the 12-month vacation entitlement year
