Job Duties:
• Oversee and supervise the floor and coordinate with the salespersons and cashier.
• Prepare a schedule and assign duties to different staff on the floor.
• Hire and train new salespersons in consultation with the Store Manager.
• Prepare and maintain records of the performance of each salesperson and periodically have an appraisal.
• Keeps himself/herself updated with the new and upcoming products and technologies in mattresses.
• Ensure that salespersons are attending training, general or product-related, and periodically test the knowledge of salespersons and if necessary, ask them to undergo further training.
• Keep a record of inventories in the outlet and inform the Store Manager about the stock available accordingly.
• Motivating the salespersons to achieve decided sales targets.
• Listen to customers’ complaints and provide suitable resolution.
• Ensure that the physical appearance of the outlet including electronic visual display, signage, and overall cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.
• Makes sure that mattresses, beds, sofas, and other products are effectively displayed to attract customers.
• Ensure that subordinate staff is adhering to the rules.
Job Requirements:
• A High School certificate would be an asset but not mandatory.
• 6+ months of Experience as a Retail Salesperson or related positions would be an asset.
• Good at multitasking.
• Good communication skills.
• Good Organizational skills.
