Our company 0990135 BC. Ltd. is based in Surrey, BC and is carrying out all kinds of residential and commercial building construction, maintenance, renovations etc. Our company is currently hiring 2 Ironworkers to work in various construction sites across Lower Mainland, BC
Job responsibilities:
• Read blueprints in order to prepare steel units to be hoisted
• Erect and install scaffolding, hoisting equipment and rigging
• Signal crane operator to position steel units in place
• Erect structural and architectural precast concrete components for buildings
• Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures
• Position steel bars or metal mesh to reinforce concrete structures
• Install structural metalwork curtain walls, metal stairways, railings and power doors
• Ensure all structures and equipment meet specifications
• Dismantle structures and equipment when required
Job Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School
• Completion of 2–3 year apprenticeship program OR over 2-3 years of related work experience
• Trade certification is an asset but not compulsory
Job Terms:
• Wage: $36.50 per hour
• Job Location: Based out of 5537 185A Street, Surrey, British Columbia - V3S 8S1 and Various Locations Across the Lower Mainland
• Hours: 40 hours per week. Full time, permanent position
