Job Title: Computer Systems Manager
Work Location: Remote and at #400-601 West Broadway Vancouver, BC V5Z4C2
Job Type: Full-time, permanent position with 30-35 hours per week.
Compensation: $60.44 per hour. Overtime at the rate of 1.5 times after 8 hours per week/40 hours per week.
Benefits: As per BC employment standards
Key duties:
. Plan, organize, develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems development and operations;
. Conduct Scrum meetings and Sprint Planning meetings;
. Control and evaluate the electronic data processing department;
. Direct and manage the daily operations of the information system department as well as the management and execution of site/software development projects against delivery commitments and project plans;
. Communicate with clients to discuss computer and information systems requirements, including specifications, timelines, and costs;
. Develop, support, and manage teams to analyze, design, develop, implement, operate, and administer software, networks, and information systems;
. Maintain team staff by recruiting, orienting, mentoring, and supervising employees including computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians, and other related personnel; evaluate their performance;
. Make a budget plan and control the expenditures of the project;
. Lead with a profound understanding of new and relevant technologies to realize efficiency;
Job Requirements:
. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
. Experience: Minimum two years of experience in the related field
. Language: English
