Responsibilities:
Tasks:
1. Maintain records of food costs,
2. consumption, sales and inventory
3. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and new equipment to cooking staff
4.Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food
5. Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets
6. Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions
7. Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
8. Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
9. Recruit and hire staff
10. Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
