Corex Management Inc. is currently looking for an Intermediate Accounting Bookkeeper.
Wage: $31.00/Hourly, 40 hours per week
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Job Title: Intermediate Accounting Bookkeeper (NOC 12200)
Work Location: Suite 550, 800 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada V6C 2V6
Duties:
• Update and maintain clients’ accounting records by coding, posting, and paying vendor invoices
• Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts
• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations and bank reconciliations
• Prepare cash position reports
• Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries, such as accruals, amortizations, etc.
• Reconcile and process GST returns and other regulatory filings
• Prepare quarterly and year-end working papers
• Prepare quarterly and year-end financial statements and MD&A drafts
• Assist the manager with year-end audit
• Assist the manager with ad hoc projects.
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum two (2) years of practical accounting work experience
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Proficient in using QuickBooks software
• Must have excellent time management skills and able to meet tight deadlines
• Must have excellent organizational skills and able to multi-tasks effectively and efficiently
• Must have strong attention to detail and be accurate when dealing with numbers
• Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Language: English
Minimum Education:
• Minimum two (2) years of accounting education and training, preferably someone who completed a two-year accounting diploma
