JL13 Concepts has an exciting new opportunity as our Corporate Sales Manager to join our Global Sales Organization team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for extensive research, prospecting, and successful acquisition of business through in markets sales efforts with extensive travel to ensure significant contribution to successful ramp of assigned new property openings and to their ongoing success. You will contribute to the occupancy, ADR and strong performance in assigned markets and properties. You will partner with assigned properties to uncover and grow synergies across markets where possible and have a heavy market presence to ensure achievement in each area.

Your Responsibilities
Identifies and pursues new opportunities through ongoing in-market sales efforts and prospecting that ensures successful acquisition of opportunities providing meaningful revenue for assigned markets.
Extensive travel (up to 80%) in markets to ensure thorough market knowledge, immediate success for new opening properties, continuous sales generation for assigned locations and property sales training support.
Maintains ongoing knowledge of accounts and opportunities within each assigned market. Understands competitive landscape and Choice’s position within that spectrum, specifically as it relates to market locations, and implements tactics to shift share from competitors and grow contribution.
Supports property level sales effort in pursuit and growth of local sales accounts and opportunities.
Use a variety of techniques and resources to understand and secure market opportunities.
Establish collaborative relationship in pursuit of identified opportunities with hotel partners.
Provide training and support to property level team members to ensure success post opening.
Travel into markets for local sales calls and follow up with property sellers.
Able to evaluate and provide mutual value between partners quickly in negotiations.
Deploys flexible selling approach tailored to each property and customer’s needs.
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Location near major city – within 30 miles of major airport.
BA/BS degree or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Industry related experience that includes:
Property Level Sales
Business Transient Sales
Group Sales
Pre-Opening Support
Knowledge of sales and research systems including:
TravelClick Reporting
SalesForce CRM
Construct Connect Research
