The Role:
As a Python programmer at JL13 Concepts, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing backend systems that are robust, scalable, and integral to our client projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, from building server-side logic to integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers, all while ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Key Responsibilities:
– Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code.
– Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
– Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
– Implementation of security and data protection.
– Integration of data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.
– Work closely with the development team to conceptualize, build, test, and deploy new features.
– Debugging and improving application performance.
What We’re Looking For:
– Proven work experience as a Python programmer.
– Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework (such as Django, Flask, etc.).
– Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
– Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
– Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
– Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
– Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
– Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
– Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
– Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
– Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
