Location: Surrey BC
Salary: $21.00 / Hour.
Vacancies: 1 Vacancies.
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time 35 Hours / Week.
Employment conditions: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Weekend.
Work Setting: Restaurant.
Workers Supervised: Cook (general), Kitchen and food service helpers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 Year to less then 2 years.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast-paced environment, Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability: Client focus, Team player, Effective interpersonal skills.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Establish methods to meet work schedules, Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, Hire food service staff, Address customers complaints or concerns.
JOB DUTIES:
• To Establish work schedules.
• To ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• To establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Prepare food order summaries for chef.
• To requisition food and kitchen supplies
• To supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• To train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• To estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
• To hire food service staff
• Prepare budget and cost estimates.
• To address customers' complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays.
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
