Wage: $22 per hour
Main Duties:
• Determine the method of shipment and organize transportation arrangements.
• Prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or using computer systems.
• Assemble containers and crates, record their contents manually or digitally, pack goods for shipment, and attach identifying information and shipping instructions.
• Verify the loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.
• Inspect incoming goods, verify them against invoices or accompanying documents, record any shortages, and reject damaged items.
• Unpack received shipments, categorize the goods, and route them to the appropriate storage areas.
• Maintain internal record-keeping systems, whether manual or computerized.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, or other machinery as needed to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• 1-2 years Experience in a related occupation or as a warehouse worker.
• Satisfactory criminal record check.
