Job duties:
• Determine quantity of material required.
• Good understanding of colors combinations to suggest clients if required.
• Able to prepare the desired color and texture by mixing.
• Able to use brushes, rollers and spray equipment to apply paint and other material.
• Remove stains, use oil, varnish, as required on different surfaces.
• Remove old wallpapers, paints from indoor & outdoor surfaces.
• Cover Walls by using fabric and wallpaper
• Clean surfaces by using scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting and steam-cleaning.
• Make surfaces ready for paint by filling holes and repairing cracks.
• Keep work area cleaned and organized
Job requirements:
• Completion of high school is required.
• Completion of 3-4 years apprenticeship program.
Or
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required.
