Position: Physiotherapist Assistant
Job type: permanent, full-time job with flexible working hours, including weekends

Salary: $23.00 per hour
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
Education: College/CEGEP
Job Duties include:
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Assist during the assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patients
• Examine adult clients to assess hearing loss, recommend the type of hearing instrument, take ear mold impressions, and perform follow-up examinations and readjustments
• Take patients' general medical and ophthalmic history
• Administer tests using equipment, instruct patients on test procedures and record results, and monitor, check and calibrate auditory equipment
• Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine
• Conduct research in physiotherapy
• Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
• Document patient rehabilitation progress
Languages:
Proficiency in verbal and written English is a must
