Position – Grocery Clerk Supervisor
Job type: Permanent, full-time job with flexible working hours
Salary: $21.00 /hour
Job Responsibilities:
• Assign duties to sales workers according to their expertise
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize the payment of a cheque by the payment authority
• Order merchandise as per the requirement in the store
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Assemble a work schedule according to the needs of the workers
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers
• Manage the payroll administration process for the organization
• Supervise office and volunteer staff
