Vice-President for Construction
This position is full-time. The construction vice president is required to manage operations and finances for the business, as well as provide interpersonal management and relevant outbound marketing and customer relations. The ideal candidate for this position must have an extremely good communication ability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to legislate and manage multiple aspects of the business. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
All field operations – ensuring workload, scheduling, workforce labor, materials, and other items are up to speed for the projects
Overseeing management of the organization’s finances and overall development
Collaborating with construction project management professionals to ensure resources are available when needed
Assisting in hiring processes: Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff.
Establish and maintain an overall team culture of high performance, problem-solving, respect and continuous improvement.
Oversee all aspects of the construction phase, quality-control, and site-management.
Be able to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
3 to 5 years of relative experience within construction and development.
Equivalency considered.

Construction Manager

Ensuring the construction process is on schedule on a daily and weekly basis
Prepare and submit construction project buget estimates, as well as construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
?Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
Be able to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
