• Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods on the menu
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements
- Replace supplies as needed
- Monitor and order inventory and supplies
- Clean kitchen and cooking station and sterilize equipment
- Oversee kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- Estimate expected food consumption and order ingredients/supplies
• Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications: Secondary High School Graduation Certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Work Setting: Restaurant
• Flexible work hours: Shift – Morning, Day, Night, Weekend
