We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor with a robust background in sales and the ability to effectively present our diverse range of products, including chemicals, to both potential and existing clients. Your Responsibilities:
- Supervise, plan, assign, and review the work of clerks involved in various warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventories of materials, parts, and products.
- Oversee the processing of purchasing transactions and coordinate production work, ensuring efficient dispatching of crews and scheduling of transportation routes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security policies, procedures, standards, and regulations, actively participating in their review and improvement.
- Resolve operational issues and related complaints, implementing corrective measures and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.
- Train and mentor workers in their job duties, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Requisition necessary supplies and materials to maintain optimal inventory levels and support uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for necessary maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Conduct performance reviews of supervised workers, providing feedback and development plans to support their growth and effectiveness.
- Perform the same duties as supervised workers when necessary to meet operational demands and maintain a hands-on understanding of the workflow.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and other relevant data, ensuring data integrity and availability for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and support for company operations and objectives.
- Manage budget allocations for the warehouse, ensuring cost-effective operations and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Employment Requirements:
- College diploma is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in occupation supervised
- MS Office
