The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the company's range of surveillance equipment. This includes creating and coordinating marketing campaigns, conducting market research, enhancing brand awareness, and generating leads. The role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and technical knowledge of surveillance products to effectively reach and engage the target audience.
Job Duties:
1.Gain an in-depth understanding of the products’ features, specifications, and benefits. Identify what sets the product apart from the competitors (e.g., unique features, superior performance, competitive pricing).
2.Establish clear goals for marketing campaigns (e.g., increasing brand awareness, generating leads, boosting sales). Develop detailed profiles of ideal customers, including demographics, psychographics, and behavior patterns.
3.Develop effective marketing strategies to deliver clear and compelling value proposition that highlights the products’ benefits.
4.Create a variety of content such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, and infographics. Prepare persuasive and engaging copy for emails, social media posts, and advertisements. Develop a content calendar to schedule and organize the production of content, and ensure consistent messaging and branding across all content and channels.
5.Set up official business profiles on selected platforms, ensuring consistency in branding and information across all accounts. Actively monitor and repond to comments on posts to foster engagement and community building.
6.Monitor key performance indicators such as engagement rate, reach, impressions, follower growth, and conversion rate. Use platform-specific tools to track performance. Analyze the data to gain insights and make data-driven adjustments to the social media strategy.
7.Work with other departments (e.g., sales, product development) to ensure alignment and support for the campaigns. Provide insights on what worked well and areas for improvement. Recommend future marketing, advertising, and sales promotion strategies.
8.Build and maintain relationships with journalist and media outlets. Follow up with media contacts to ensure coverage and address any additional information needs. Develop internal communication channels such as newsletters, intranet, and regular meetings for employees.
9.Coordinate promotional events, assit in determining the event budget, and create and distribute promotional materials such as invitations, flyers, social media posts, and press releases.
10.Conduct research and survey to understand customer satisfaction, change in market trends, and gauge public perception of a new product or policy. Provide actionable recommendations to the management to address identified issues or opportunities.
Qualifications:
1.A college diploma or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the retail or technology sector.
3.Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices.
4.Ability to analyze market data and campaign performance using analytics tools.
5.Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Mailchimp, SEMrush).
6.Knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices.
