Job Description
Operate a straight truck or a tractor-trailer with two or three axles.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Maintain daily truck records and submit mileage reports.
Create reports on work-related issues, estimate budgets and track expenditures.
Adhere to both company and government regulations and rules.
Secure cargo safely and manage hazardous materials.
Communicate with dispatchers and fellow drivers using onboard radios.
Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any identified issues. Like performing pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Address workplace challenges and seek ways to enhance performance.
Establish strategies to meet job deadlines and collaborate with other departments.
Provide training to employees on job responsibilities, safety protocols, and company policies.
Assist with recruitment processes of new drivers in the team.
Review routes to anticipate delivery times.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption

AZ class license
Air Brakes Endorsement
Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
