Job Description:
- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures specific to the daycare center.
- Establish work priorities, ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
- Perform and manage the administrative activities of the daycare center.
- Administer policies and procedures for processing records and requests under government and privacy legislation.
- Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security.
- Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
- Perform data entry tasks including student profile management and waiting list updates.
- Train staff on administrative procedures and policies.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure a harmonious working and learning environment.
- Plan and control the budget and expenditures of the daycare center.
Qualifications:
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma, preferred in business administration or early childhood education.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Ability to communicate in English; excellent oral and written communication skills preferred.
- A valid first aid certificate will be an asset.
- Ability to work independently.
