Chen's Convenience Cigar Store, a local business based inDartmouth, has been operating since 2017. We specialize in thesale of cigars and related accessories, while also offering groceriesand delivery services. Our commitment is to provide customers withhigh-quality products and exceptional service, creating a convenientand efficient shopping experience.
To uphold our service standards and fulfill our commitment, we arelooking for a dedicated Sales Supervisor to join us. This position isresponsible for coordinating daily in-store and online sales,managing the daily tasks of sales personnel, and ensuring the salesteam operates efficiently to achieve sales targets.
Main duties:
• Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers, as well as salesactivities.
• Arrange employees' work schedules reasonably to ensure
sufficient staffing during business hours.
• Handle customer payments, returns, complaints, and specialrequests, ensuring timely resolution to guarantee customersatisfaction.
• Regularly check inventory to ensure the store is well-stocked andmaintain good communication with suppliers to promptly orderneeded products.
• Prepare and analyze sales data, formulate improvement measuresto enhance sales performance.
• Responsible for recruiting and training new employees, ensuringthat sales personnel thoroughly understand the store's products toprovide professional answers to customers’ enquiries.
• Regularly evaluate employees' performance, providing feedbackand suggestions for improvement.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the store, ensuringproducts displays organized and appealing. Design and organize in-store promotions and advertising signs to attract customers.
• Responsible for opening and closing the store, handling escalatedcomplaints, developing and implementing marketing strategies.
• Manage in-store phone and online ordering system, coordinateonline shopping procedures, including order processing, packing,and shipping, to ensure prompt service.
• Personally participate in sales and cashier work during peakperiods or employee absences.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales or customerservice role, preferably in a supervisory position.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retailmanagement software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressfulsituations.
• High level of integrity and reliability.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
