The fastest growing Mexican Fusion restaurant in the Dartmouth/ Halifax area is looking for a Line Cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced innovative environment:
Prepare and cook various items related to a fusion of Mexican food with tastes around the world
Be able to prepare diet specific dishes for catering
Inspect kitchen for cleanliness and health hazards
Order supplies, food and other, as needed
Maintain inventory of food and supplies on daily and weekly basis – able to
Inspect equipment on daily basis
Clean kitchen and work areas as needed
Follow all Health and Safety guidelines
Available weeknights and weekends
Train new employees on the menu and keeping a sanitized work area
Monitor and mentor kitchen staff for accuracy on portion size, recipes and food safety
Team player, organized, dependable, able to multitask
Start ASAP
Position hiring – 2 positions
$16.00/hr – Permanent position
Full-Time: 40-44 hours per week
High School Graduate or higher
1-2 years’ experience as a Line Cook
