This role reports directly to the Chief Programs Officer
What you will be doing:
As Senior Program Manager your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Program Delivery and Support
Support the design and integration of program curriculum and content, including teaching materials and resources, for online sessions, community groups, and our e-learning platform tailored for impact founders and aspiring investors
Review the development of cohort application forms and selection criteria, in accordance with program goals and deliverables, evaluate curriculum and recommend improvements
Develop content and structure of our new and existing programs
Oversee operational support for the Programs including: stakeholder engagement and supporting with program delivery
Supervise the budget of programs to ensure cost effectiveness and adherence to program’s objectives
Work with Spring Leadership team, including VPs & C-suite to recommend improvements and revise or design program and curriculum materials
Raising awareness and recruiting for programs:
Represent Spring at both in person and virtual events and relevant platforms by delivering presentations, offering through leadership and networking at conferences, workshops and symposia
Oversee education program applications and selection, using email marketing and automation tools.
This includes interviewing and researching founder and investor program applicants to determine if they are appropriate to participate in programs.
Contribute content to the marketing team to help promote our programming, support the development of background content and initial copy for marketing and/or promotional materials making recommendations to project managers where appropriate
Impact Measurement
Conduct research and produce reports, collect and evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) from programs and participants to create comprehensive reports that enhance program delivery
This includes aligning program intake questions with data reporting requirements
Conduct statistical analyses to determine cost and effectiveness of programs, identifying opportunities for continuous iteration and improvement
Collate impact metrics, synthesizing their learnings and translating them into tangible insights with the support of the VP of Learner Experience
Support design, development, and evaluation of application and data collection tools to gather relevant information from applicants and participants, facilitating the creation of comprehensive reports to assess program effectiveness
Terms of Employment: This is a permanent and full-time position, 40 hours of work per week

Wage: $85,000-105,000
Vacation:
15 days of paid vacation, 5 personal health days, and statutory BC holidays. We also provide additional days off between Christmas and New Years holidays.

A bachelor’s degree in business, economics or other applicable social science
At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar program delivery role
Demonstrated understanding of working with early stage investors including running programs with them as a primary audience and/or participating in angel networks
Demonstrated knowledge in delivering programs for underrepresented and equity seeking groups for example women and non binary individuals, BIPOC individuals etc.
Demonstrated knowledge in managing and delivering entrepreneur programs including but not limited to venture sourcing, curriculum development, session delivery, speaker sourcing and mentorship management
Demonstrated knowledge in early-stage impact investing conducting light due diligence to evaluate impact ventures
Demonstrated knowledge in tracking and analyzing costs of multi-tiered program contracts especially with government and corporate funders
Demonstrated knowledge in with conducting formal reporting processes especially with foundations and government agencies
Be located in Toronto, Ontario and flexible to travel when light travel is required
Be able to attend, speak and/ or deliver presentations on behalf of Spring at conferences, workshops and symposia during evenings and/or weekends
Great communication skills to be able to communicate fluently in English and listen actively in a range of environments and with a variety of stakeholders with ease
