SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Receive, store and organize materials within the warehouse. Unload incoming shipments, inspect goods for damage, and verify quantities against shipping documents. Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products. Store and organize inventory and ensure easy access and optimal use of space. Pick and pack items according to orders, prepare them for shipment, and accurately document the process. Sort, crate and stack goods while maintaining inventory levels through regular counts and audits. Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
SECURITY AND SAFETY:
Maintaining a safe workplace environment should be at the priority. Safety equipment and devices must always be used and worn while at work.
WORK CONDITIONS:
The work is physically demanding and involves heavy lifting. You would work with grease, oil, dirt and diesel fuel, and may be exposed to fumes and noise.
