Job Title: General Manager

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time (Overtime, Weekend if required)
Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible.

Wage rate: $51.50 per hour, for 37.5 hours per week
Education: High School is required. (Managerial course or diploma or degree will be an asset)
Experience: 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
Languages: Good and fluent English is required
Responsibilities
• Authorize and organize the activities of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
• Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
• Oversight of all personnel development activities to include: overall human resources planning, financials and budget planning, and promotion of team members.
• Conducts systems and process planning as it relates to budget forecasting, organization, personnel development, and marketing strategies.
• Monitors data of ongoing service, maintenance and training activities to identify, evaluate, and improve performance. Creates reporting and analysis to improve overall performance.
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Functions as a tactful communicator and motivator that identifies problem solving and resolution matters associated with the overall safety and well-being of the company’s operations and service.
