Quickfalls Collision Centre North Battleford, provides car repair and maintenance service in North Battleford, SK. Currently we are seeking 1 Journeyman/woman motor vehicle body repairer to join our dynamic team.
Position: Journeyman/woman motor vehicle body repairer
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Wage: $27.00-35.00 /hour (paid on a semi-monthly basis)
Work hours: 35-40 hours/week.
Key Responsibilities:
Review damage reports, estimate repair costs, and plan the necessary repair work.
Repair and replace front-end components, body parts, doors, frames, and underbody components.
Hammer out dents, buckles, and other defects using blocks and hammers.
Operate soldering equipment or apply plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills using wrenches and cutting torches, then bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
Prepare auto body surfaces for painting by filing, grinding, sanding, masking, and taping.
Mix paint, blend and match colors, apply primers, and repaint surfaces using brushes or spray guns.
Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows, and sunroofs.
Repair or replace interior components, including seat frames, carpets, and floorboard insulation.
Qualifications:
• Secondary school completion is required.
• 1-2 years Experience.
• Physical demanding,
• Detail oriented
You are entitled to overtime pay for hours worked more than 40 hours per week and/or more than 8 hours per day will be paid at 1.5 x the hourly rate of pay.
You will be entitled to 3 weeks’ annual vacation which is calculated on your earnings at a rate of 5.77%.
