Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Calgary Region as per company contracts.
Wage rate: $33.25 per hour (40 hours per week)
Education: Completion of High School
Experience: 2-3 years of experience
Language: Basic Knowledge of English.
Job Duties:
• Determine the amounts and types of insulation needed, and methods of insulation.
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Remove and dispose of old insulation and other debris.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application as per instructed.
• Fit insulation around obstructions and secure with staples, tape, or screws.
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Listen to instructions, apply knowledge & skills to work and ensure project completion within timeline.
Working setting: The candidate should be available to work full-time in the day or evening or on weekends, overtime if required.
Working Conditions: Candidate should be able to lift weight (50lbs). Should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, rain, or shine.
Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada. Position is available and open to Aboriginal persons, youth, new immigrants, and persons with disabilities.
