0761100 BC Ltd. DBA Kids Castle is looking for 1 early childhood educator. The job requirements will be as below:
1. Assess the children’s development in order to prepare a learning plan tailored to his needs.
2. Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
3. Maintain daycare equipment
4. Storytelling
5. Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers
6. Synthesize the overall situation of the children and communicate the information to the parents
7. Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
8. Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
9. Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records
10. Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
11. Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts
12. Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
13. Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor
14. Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
15. Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
16. Knowledge of licensing regulations
17. Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
18. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistant
