Duties and Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate potential international trade opportunities and global partnerships.
• Study international market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effect of competitors' operations on sales.
• Manage the import of rugs products, including overseeing logistics and shipping, quality and inventory control.
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Plan, direct and evaluate the daily operations of our rug retail store.
• Manage staff and assign duties, conduct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly.
• Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale.
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues.
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues.
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, training, development, and retention of staff.
Skills and Qualification:
• A university degree in international trade, business administration, marketing, commerce, or economics is preferred.
• Three years of related sales experience in international business at increasing levels of responsibility is required.
