Position Overview: The PVC Extrusion Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining a twin screw extruder to produce high-quality flat profile panels. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and monitor the twin screw extruder to produce flat profile PVC panels according to specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make adjustments to the machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the extruder and related equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Material Handling: Load raw materials into the extruder, monitor material flow, and adjust feed rates to ensure consistent production.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, machine settings, and product quality data.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents to the supervisor.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth production operations and meet production targets.

Qualifications:
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to inspect products and identify defects. Commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
