One (1) Full-time permanent position of Convenience Store Manager (NOC 60020) is available at 2239749 Ontario Inc. O/A Circle K, located at 1 Yonge Street South, Elmvale, Ontario, L0L 1P0.
Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 60020:
• Plan operations of the store, direct employees to various tasks and evaluate the operations of store engaged in retail sales.
• Manage staff members and assign duties to them for stocking, cleaning, labelling etc.
• Ensure that safety protocols required for gas stations are followed at all times
• Coordinate with market research and deals to determine consumer demand.
• Handle all sales transactions, prepare sales reports daily & managing bank deposits.
• Determine various merchandise and products to be sold.
• Implement & manage price and credit policies of the station/store.
• Introducing day-to-day different deals.
• Manage customer complaints and oversee the resolution of these complaints.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies.
• Assist in planning budgets and authorize expenditures of the store.
• Hire new employees, training them.
• Ensure that employee conduct standards are met at all times and implement the company’s disciplinary policy.
• Ensure that security protocols, such as maintaining small amounts of cash on premises, are followed at all times
Requirements:
Minimum one (1) year of experience required.
College Diploma
Wage rate: $43.75/hour
Hours: 35 hrs/week
