Position: Network System Administrator
Available Position: 1
Type of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
Wage: $31.35 to $33.35 per hour (to be negotiated, may depend on experience)

Duties but are not limited to the following:

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, Internet connections, and peripheral equipment.
Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software, and software applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, coordinating access and use while addressing system performance issues.
Provide problem-solving services to network users, addressing technical issues and resolving connectivity or system errors in a timely manner.
Perform routine network start-up, shut-down, and maintenance tasks, including maintaining accurate control records for future reference.
Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, ensuring the protection and availability of critical business data in case of system failures.
Monitor network security by conducting regular tests, implementing security protocols, and performing quality control checks to guard against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
Create and maintain network documentation, including records of network configurations, system settings, and troubleshooting logs to assist with diagnostics and future improvements.
Supervise and train junior technical staff in troubleshooting and network management techniques, while also supporting general user training on network best practices.
Collaborate with third-party vendors for hardware and software support, and assist in cloud integration, optimization, and management of network resources.


Qualifications:

Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration is usually required.
