Platinum Pro-Claim Restoration located at 13880 Mayfield Pl, Richmond, BC V6V 2E4 is looking for a Junior Site Manager responsible for training and overseeing the development of a team’s Restoration Labourers and Technicians, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform their duties effectively. The salary is $32.00 to $37.00 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time, year-round position working 40 hours per week. Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducting hands-on training or Restorations Labourers and Technicians. This may come in the form of on-the-job training or team training sessions.
• Accurately track and measure your team’s knowledge, skills, and abilities through our training programs, KnowHow, and our Skills Matrix in collaboration with your site manager.
• Working with the Site Managers to develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of your team.
• Manage tools and EQ such as (air ride, DocuSketches, concrete meters, FLIR, etc.) associated to each team.
• Complete monthly vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, organized, carry sufficient EQ and are in line with our health and safety standards.
• Leading the team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and in a timely manner to push the job forward.
• Being a part of the performance management process by monitoring and assessing team members’ performance, providing feedback, and additional training as needed.
• Ensuring that all team members comply and adhere to company safety standards and restoration best practices.
• Assisting with the planning, organizing, and managing of emergency phase projects on-site.
• Supervise and support the daily activities of Restoration Labourers and Technicians.
• Providing a helping hand on-site by completing Restoration Labourer or Technician responsibilities from time to time if the team or site is short-staffed.
• Resolving any team-related issues or disputes that may arise.
• Ensure work is being completed up to company standards and within specified time frames.
• Addressing and revolving issues and challenges that may come up on-site or within the team.
• Act as a primary point of contact between on-site teams and dispatchers.
• Communicating job needs, status updates, and any changes in project scope to dispatchers and your project management team in a timely manner.
• Maintaining clear and accurate records of job progress and team performance.
• Assisting in the assessment of damage and planning to complete the emergency phases of the job.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• A minimum five (5) years experience in construction or flood/fire restoration field with at least of two (2) years of supervisory experience
• WRT Certification. Other IICRC certificates are considered an asset.
• At least two years of experience in the fire and flood restoration industry.
• Experience supervising workers on job sites, whether co-workers or subcontractors.
• Additional experience in the construction industry (carpentry, drywall, paint) are considered an asset.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress situations.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work with apps such as Encircle, Restorify, Microsoft Outlook, and ADP.
• Ability to work on our on-call schedule.
• Complete a criminal background check to our approval.
• Must have a valid class 5 driver's license.
