KEBAB 49 is a casual restaurant. We offer Turkish Cuisine, Mediterranean, Woodoven Bread, and Charbroiled Kebabs.
Our restaurant is now looking to hire cooks passionate about authentic Turkish cuisine. The qualifications and responsibilities of successful candidates are listed below.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparation of various Turkish dishes and food items;
Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized;
Proper handling of food, with particular attention to Food Safety;
Ability to work on the grill cooking various types of meat, poultry, and our most recent addition, fish;
Help organize menu, supplies and kitchen helpers;
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion;
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS
High-School is an asset but not required;
1+ year experience in the food industry or equivalent school experience;
Attention to detail;
Fast-paced environments.
Cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures specific to Turkish cuisine are an asset.
