As a Project Coordinator at Buildforth Construction Corp., you will play a pivotal role in facilitating successful project execution from initiation to completion. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with project managers, Superintendents and teams to assist in planning, organizing, and executing various open wall and closed wall projects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, plans, reports, and correspondence.
• Assist in managing project resources for various construction projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, our factory, and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow.
• Quality control and assurance. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Identify potential risks, issues, and roadblocks; work collaboratively to develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in procurement activities, including sourcing materials, obtaining quotes, and managing vendor relationships.
• Electrical coordination, management and troubleshooting for various residential electrical installations.
• Prepare project reports to update the executive team on project status.
• Warranty and deficiency management/coordination. Assist In actively managing warranty claims in accordance with warranty procedures and processes.
Employment Requirements:
To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
• Education: A bachelor's degree, diploma or formal education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical or a related field.
• Experience: Over 3 years experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within the construction industry. Electrical experienced considered an asset.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with project management tools, software, and construction methodologies.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Innovative: Willing to explore and investigate new and innovate Ideas to Increase efficiency.
