Job requirements:
- Expert in Punjabi/Hindi Language
- Completion of College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in music with Punjabi/Hindi language.
- Demonstrate your ability to teach the Music.
- Demonstrate playing at least three Musical instruments such as Tabla, Harmonium, Sarangi, Sitar, Veena, Tambura, Tumbi etc.
Asset:
- Previous Punjabi/Hindi music teacher experience is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Punjabi/Hindi Folk musical instruments is an asset.

Job Duties:
- Teach Music institute students from basics
- Follow music class syllabus for singing and playing musical instruments
- Instruct students about musical instruments
- Assist students in correct pronunciations while singing
- Prepare students mock test questions
- Answer students’ questions
- Able to provide group and individual classes
- Assist students in choosing the program
- Prepare students’ progress sheet
- Assist institute staff in preparing teaching material etc.
- Prepare students for special performance etc.
