Lally Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is a construction company located at 7193 Culloden Street, Vancouver, BC, V5X 4K1. We are currently looking for Plumbers to join our growing team.
Job Title: Plumber
Positions vacant: 2
Terms of employment: Full-time, permanent, occasional overtime is required
Wage rate: $31.50 per hour, 6-8 hours per day 30-40 hours per week, overtime wage rate starts after 40 hours a week or 8 hours a day.
Benefits: 4% vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
Work Location: Various locations across the lower mainland, depending on the job project site
Job type: residential, industrial, and renovation construction job projects.
Start date: As soon as possible
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School is required
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant work experience in this trade is required.
Language: English
Job duties:
-Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
-Repair, install, or maintain plumbing fixtures and system as needed.
-Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
-Cut wood, concrete or drywall openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
-Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools, or machines as needed in the job.
-Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
-Check pipe leaks using water pressure and air gauges.
