Is seeking 5 long haul truck drivers. Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $25.00 / hour or 48 cents per mile, whichever is more. Full time: 40-50 hours per week.
Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience not required, but an asset. We will train.
Air Brakes Endorsement
Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
Duties will include:
Load and unload goods
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Must also be able to complete driver logbook, accident or incident reports, trip reports.
