Design and implement child-care programs that encourage children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
Evaluate each child's development to create customized learning plans that address their individual needs.
Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to engage children, and take them on outings to nearby points of interest.
Assist children in establishing healthy habits, such as proper eating, dressing, and toilet training.
Monitor children for signs of learning difficulties or behavioral concerns and prepare detailed reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
Provide parents with a comprehensive summary of their child's progress and development.
Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the children’s well-being.
Build and sustain collaborative partnerships with co-workers and community service providers involved with the children.
Organize activities for school-age children in care programs, including those before and after school hours.
Oversee and coordinate the work of other early childhood educators and their assistants.

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
