Main Duties of the Food Service Supervisor:
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports,
• Supervise and check assembly of trays,
• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Hire, train new or less experienced staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize customer satisfaction
• Resolve complaints, handle conflicts and professionally interact with customers
• Ensure adherence to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards and clean welcoming environment is maintained at all times
Requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Minimum one year of experience in related field is required.
Salary: $17.50 per hour/40 hours per week
