Our family has owned and operated Palma Pasta since 1985. We service our retail locations seven days a week and supply the food service sector all over the GTA.
We are now looking for butchers to join our team. The responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Cut, trim and prepare consumer-sized portions of meat for sale;
Prepare and attractively display meat cuts and products on the display counter;
Prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry and fish;
Use power machines to grind and slice meats;
Wrap prepared meats and poultry;
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety and sanitation policies.
CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS
Secondary school is an asset but not required;
Experience is an asset;
Attention to detail and work well with others;
Fast-learner;
Must be organized and adapt well to fast-paced environments.
