Job Description
. Practise professionalism when providing customer service
. Remove rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface.
. Examine the damage report, the cost estimates for repairs, and check the work schedule.
. Keep the workspace tidy and in good condition.
. Teach trainees
. Replace the front end, body, doors, and underneathbody components
. File, grind, and sand auto body surfaces
. Mask and protect parts that are not to be painted or coated.
. Primer surfaces and paint them.
. Fill cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.
. Fix or swap out interior parts.
. Blend, match, and mix colours in paint according to specifications.
. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.Paints surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate.
. Use frame and underbody pulling and anchoring tools to straighten bent frames.
. Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.
