Position: Construction Estimator (permanent/full time)

Young boy drywall ltd is a construction company. We are looking for a passionate and hardworking person for Construction Estimator position.
As a Construction Estimator your job description would be as follows:
• Analyze plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements for labor, materials, and equipment for the duration of a project.
• Review and analyze bid documents to ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Research and analyze historical data to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Evaluate project risks and develop contingency plans.
• Develop bid strategies to maximize profits.
• Liaise and communicate with contractors and sub-contractors for required adjustments to cost estimates.
• Review the scheduling and coordination of the daily activities of the on-site team.

Language requirements: Must be able to communicate in English
Salary: $38.50 hourly for 30-40 hours
Education & Experience:
College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
2 to less than 3 years of experience in a construction trade
