Evaluate children’s development to design a learning plan suited to their individual needs.
Create and implement childcare programs that foster children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
Summarize and share children’s progress and overall well-being with parents.
Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and organizing local excursions to spark interest and learning.
Encourage children’s creativity through art, drama, music, and physical play.
Involve children in activities like stories, songs, and crafts to support engagement and learning.
Support children in developing good habits for eating, dressing, and toileting.
Monitor children for signs of learning or behavioral challenges and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
Attend staff meetings to discuss children’s progress and address concerns.
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and secure environment for children.
Plan and coordinate activities for school-aged children in programs before and after school hours.
Oversee and coordinate the work of other early childhood educators and assistants.
